Higher Calling Ropes Camp

August 4-8, 2025

OLL's Director of Youth Ministry, Luke Brooks, encourages all middle and high schoolers to consider signing up for Higher Calling Ropes Camp, a weeklong Catholic camp which includes 5 days of friendship, faith, ropes course challenges, and more! The camp is open to youth entering 6th grade through graduating high school seniors. This camp is the collaboration of several parish youth ministries in the archdiocese.

Connect is the name of our High School Youth Group. The purpose of the gathering is for teens to meet other young Catholics and to discuss their faith together. In a casual setting, we spend our time getting to know each other, exploring the stories of the Bible, and discussing what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ in an increasingly secular world.

This is also the perfect place to ask difficult questions and to make sense of Catholic teachings that are unpopular or difficult to understand. Along the way there will be opportunities to be involved in outreach projects, such as our monthly street ministry.
